If you're like me you find tons of great ideas on Pinterest!
Every time I find something I like I pin it to one of my boards with intentions of "possibly" making it.
I did make some tasty goodies back in the fall.

I also found inspiration for decorating with red & white for Christmas.

I decided to make this appetizer for New Years Day.
It is a recipe from The Pioneer Woman. Everything I've made from one of her recipes has been so good.
I wasn't sure about this recipe but I threw caution to the wind & gave it a whirl.
Baking time at 250 degrees is 2 hours. At the end of the 1st hour it smelled delicious!
I added 20 additional minutes at the end of the 2 hours because I wanted to make sure the bacon was crisp.
After they cooled for a few minutes I gave it a taste test . . . YUM!
Hubby ate one & gave it his approval.
Thanks Ree Drummond for sharing a great recipe!

If it has bacon in it, it just has to be good:) Trying new things is such fun. Good for you.
I say good for you too! That looks delish! I made a 'metal washer' necklace from Pinterest, but am having trouble learning to tie those 'sliding knots' on cord I like so much.
Thank you for shareing this great recipe.
They were soo good!
I love Pinterst and find so many neat ideas on there. Every so often I "challenge myself" to myself to use what I've pinned instead of just dreaming about it!
I probably use the recipes the most -- but workin' on my other boards too!
BTW - the appetizers look delish!
Sounds "pinteresting".....
mmmm so fun! sounds yummo! I just posted today about some pins I ACTUALLY made too! whoot whoot!
Having my first linky if you'd like to come join in the fun!

That looks so delicious! I have also pinned a few of recipes but haven't tried them yet. I do make a lot of the recipes I find on Pinterest though-it's a great source of Pinspiration!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
I'd pinned that recipe too. Glad to hear it IS a good one. Probably make it for the next girls' nite in! :)
I haven't gotten into pinning. It is fun. I can see that. I can well imagine pinning much and not getting a chance to actually use it. I think I have enough of an addiction to blogging. LOL! But then again, it is a New Year.
