I have to tell you something . . .
it's a mess around here!
Let me show you what I mean.
I'm trying to get Christmas stuff packed away & it's driving me CRAZY!
So far this is the only vignette that I've started for the month of January.
I'm not at all happy with the look yet.
I'm going for blues & whites.
Here's a closeup of a cross stitch project I did years ago.
Does anyone cross stitch any more?
Sometimes I think I'd like to do a few small projects.

Oh, Carol! It's always a good thing no one can see what's behind me when I am taking photos at my house! Christmas take-down gives us license to be messy! Love your new vignette! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
You are making progress---almost there! I like to use winter things for the rest of the winter season and they are not easy to find. I got a nice Starbucks mug with a simple winter scene that I am using and have some other winter-type mugs. And who cares if crossstitch is "in!" I love it---have my sampler hanging up that I did years ago. It's a good time to pick it up again. Have fun!
Blue and white...classic, and charming.
I just know that you'll have everything decorated in a cute way......you always do!
Love that cross stitch too.
I used to do a lot of that...but I've found myself short of the patience it requires, as I get older.
Have a terrific day :)
Taking down Christmas decor is like eating an elephant...one bite at a time. You have the forward motion, you'll have it all tuck away soon. Like Dory says on 'Finding Nemo' just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.......Or in your case: Just keep packing, packing, packing.
Doing crossstitch always gives a proof of accomplishment, go for it!
That's looking good! My house is always a mess! 3 boys! Thank you for linking it to Home Sweet Home!
