What A Night

Our evening started out very normal.
Dinner & watching the OKC Thunder Basketball game.
We got a message from our son, who was at church practicing with the praise team that he wanted us to pick dinner for Kari & the kids.  Ethan had been feeling bad all day.
Shortly after we arrived at their house Kari decided to take Ethan to urgent card.
Hubby went with Kari & Ethan & I stayed with Emma.
Ethan was diagnosed with an ear infection.  The strep test came back negative.
We didn't get home until 11:30.
A few minutes later we heard the sirens blaring.
We made our way to our fraidy hole.
You slide back the door & climb down the stairs.
We were down there for almost an hour.
The reports we were getting said there were tornadoes a couple of miles from us.
The thunder & lightening was relentless & the rain was a constant downpour.
I finally went to bed around 1:30.
This morning I saw TV coverage of the damage in the area & flooding.
I feel blessed that we were spared from any storm damage.
Also, I am relieved to hear that Ethan is feeling so much better today.
