Bob, Bob & Bob

My Hubby, Bob . . .
and our son, Bob (II) . . .
are headed to Texas today.
Their destination is here . . .
for the 42nd annual Bob Wills Day.
Turkey is the hometown of Bob Wills, the famous bandleader, fiddler, composer, charismatic performer and movie star who fused old time fiddle tunes, jazz blues, country, mariachi and gospel music into Western Swing, one of the few truly American music forms. Western Swing is music made for dancing by a man uniquely in tune with the power of innovation and improvisation. Recognized as a major influence on music and musicians who followed him, Bob Wills is an American icon.
Enjoy your time together guys!

Yes, hope that they have a fun day. Now what are you going to be up to? I hope that you have a plan that's equally fun!

Makes me think of that Lionel Richie song,"Once...twice...three times a Bob". ; )
I know at least one Bob will enjoy it.

Carol, Are you going to have an adventure too? Your name doesn't have to be Bob to go have an adventure. laurie

And they left you at home! Or is it a matter of "while the cats are away"? (**
