Tool Box Repurpose

Happy Monday, everyone!
I had such a fun weekend with my daughter-in-law & grandkids.
Today, I'm resting up for the busy week ahead.
I'll fill you in on what's going on around here in tomorrow's post.
Just because I'm resting doesn't mean I just laying around doing nothing.
Two weeks ago I posted some of my favorite pins from Pinterest.
Vintage tool caddy with books
I love this repurposed toolbox.
I had a smaller version of the toolbox in my garage that was filled with junk for stapling & hammering projects. I brought it in & cleaned it up.  I haven't painted it yet because I'm not sure what color I want to use.
Here it is filled with books for the grandkids.
The other side is filled with markers & crayons.
The reading hoot owl & frog like to hang out in the reading corner.
They're excited about a new addition to the reading corner that will be arriving in a few days.
Stay tuned for the story.

Loving your reading corner for the kids. It will be fun to see the rest of it come together.

I bought a decorative tool box at a country-ish gift store a few years ago. I have always just used it for my grandsons stuff...toys, books, etc.
WELL, in the FALL, I decided to actually decorate with it. I put a large amount of dried hyacinths in it and displayed it on the piano.
He was so ticked!! "Oma I want my box back!"
LOL your post just reminded me of this : )

Carol, the tool box is such a good looking way to corral the grands books, etc. I love drop-leaf tables. Can't wait to read about this one. laurie
