What a charming, wonderful man he was. I, too, loved the Christmas specials and I loved listening to this song again. I'm just here from visiting Hospitality Lane where Becky and family are vacationing in Branson this week. Yours is the second dear tribute I've seen. Thank you.
Ditto, Carol. I watched all his Christmas specials years ago and I even purchased a dvd on Amazon so I can still see some of them. Such a smooth and silky voice and a nice man.

Thanks for this post.
I loved watching the Christmas specials when I was a kid.
Andy definitely had one of the greatest sounding voices in all of music -
SO soothing and yet so strong at the same time.

Reminds me of our first year of marriage, (35 years ago), when we listened to Andy, a lot.
My husband and I grew up on music that was light years apart ... so he was sweet to listen to music with me.
Fondly,
Glenda

I saw that he had passed away in the newpaper....sad.
There are many messages showing up now on the signs here in Branson. I'm hoping to get some photos of them today.
I know he will be missed.
I loved him too!
