The Saga Continues

Well my friends, the saga with our Christmas trees continues.
You know it's serious when Hubby straps on his headband flashlight!
We changed out dozens of burned out lights.
Still no lights on the tip top!
Next step, recheck each light.
I will not show the trees again until they are decorated.
 I promise!

Today's project is putting lights on the bushes.  This is the weekend to do this job because the weather next Saturday is going to be frightful.

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Lots of logistics in Christmas decorating planning! Would it be easier to buy a new string of lights? Hoping for a happy ending to the saga. What's that quote? You can tell a lot about a man's character by how he reacts to a tangled string of lights or something like that. Your man is tenacious!

That's just flat out painful, isn't it? Before we moved we were doing the same thing with our tree each year. When packing time came my husband refused to bring that tree. We did get a new one last year. We'll see how long before we are in that light checking stage again. :)

Oh Carol! We haven't put any up yet. We use the rope ones all to outline our fence. Now to find the ropes with all the lights working this year. Good luck getting your tree lighted.:)

This is why I nearly always end up buying new lights each year. Drives my dear husband crazy but he isn't the one who puts up the tree. So....we get new lights when this happens.

Life gets tedious, don't it?
