Chippy Cabinet Decked Out For Spring

I enjoy changing the decor in my chippy cabinet for each season.

 

It is all decked out for spring with some cute bunnies.

None are new.

All have been gathered through the years.

These 2 were found for 1/2 price at a drug store many years ago.

A sentimental favorite is this little guy made by Grandma Ruby.

I made this rabbit years ago.

It jogged my memory.

I have some cute cookie cutters for spring/Easter.

bunnies, flowers, carrot, butterfly

These came from the $ section at Target.

All 4 for a dollar!

I bought these at Hallmark years ago.

I've never made cookies with any of these cutters.

Now is the time to change that!

The shamrock cream cheese sugar cookies I made for St. Patrick's Day were a success.

So, I'm going to make some cute cookies for Easter.

This time when I make the simple icing of powdered sugar & water I'm going to decorate the cookies using this idea.

Oh, Easter Tree

Oh, Easter tree, oh, Easter tree, how lovely are your branches!

Yes, we have an Easter tree.

If you can't tell by now, I decorate for all the holidays.

I tend to go a little over board, but I enjoy doing it for the grandkids.

Several rabbit friends have gathered round the tree.

They enjoy seeing all the pretties on the tree.

Denim Easter Baskets

I used a pair of Hubby's old jeans.

One for Emma . . . 

and one for Ethan.

The grass is edible, found it at Target.

After Easter they can use the jeans baskets for storing treasures.
