Do you remember these pans?
This Bundt cake pan belonged to my Mother.
The harvest gold color was so popular during the 60s & 70s.
My Mother baked many a sock it to me cake in this pan.
I decided to bake one, Sunday afternoon.
I found the recipe on Pinterest.
Click on the picture for the recipe.
But instead of using my Mother's pan I decided to bake 4 little cakes in this pan.
I baked them a little too long.
Despite being a little dry it tastes very good.
Next time I will use the bundt pan.
Have you ever eaten sock it to me cake?

They look cute, great with coffee I'm sure. Mother certainly kept her bundt pan busy through the years.
My bunt pan is exactly the same!!! I have had that cake but recently I did a chocolate lava cake in it and it turned out great! Also bunt pans are GREAT for cutting corn off the cob! Check it out! http://www.kjaggers.com/2012/07/great-fresh-corn-tip.html
Never heard of sock it to me cake.
I'll have to give the recipe a look.
Enjoy this day.

HI Carol! I love sock it to me cake and have eaten it and still make it occasionally! Wish I had an old bunt pan like yours! They were so heavy and did the job the right way. Love your cute little pans though.
Be a sweetie,
