Christmas Eve Blizzard . . .

Oklahoma is experiencing a Christmas Eve blizzard.
I hear sleet hitting the window.
The temp. is 27 degrees.
The wind is gusting up to 40 miles per hour.
I'm hoping we don't lose power.
Heavy snow will begin falling very soon.

We're cozy & warm inside our house.
I'm praying for all those who are traveling
on the streets & highways.

Here's a view from our quest room window.

Santa looks a little stiff & frozen.
I'll post pictures of the aftermath when the
storm is winding down tomorrow.
Merry Christmas!
Be safe & stay warm . . .

Carol,
Thank you so much for coming by to wish us a Merry Christmas.

We are postponing our regular Christmas Eve Christmas with family as i am sick. Sooo, we are hoping for Sunday to be able to get together.

First time for this ever to happen.
God, thanks for all the Christmas Eves we had with no one sick.

blessings to you and yours, and a year filled with His Peace and Love.

I don't think we are going to get it this time, rain and the wind is what we have. I know your world will be beautiful in the moring.
A very Merry Christmas to you and your family.

It really is pretty and yes, it will be very pretty in the morning.
I'm just thankful my children are safe and sound.
There were so many wrecks & people stranded while driving today in the OKC area.
Isn't it crazy that the Interstates and Turnpikes were closed?
Praying you and your family have a very merry Christmas and a blessed 2010!
Love,
Valerie
P.S. Maybe one day we'll get to meet in person.
We're too close not to. :)
