Crock Pot Menu For 5 Days Of Celebrating

Tomorrow my sisters arrive for the
"Fall Festival Birthday Celebration".
They have planned 5 days of fun activities.  We are going to be eating out, but for other meals we're going to let the crock pot do the cooking.
Thursday evening we're going to have good old fashioned cornbread & pinto beans.
I soak the beans over night then start the cooking around 9:00 the next morning on high for 6 to 8 hours.
Basic ingredients are 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
sauce, and 1 piece of chopped bacon.  Sometimes I add a can of Rotel for a little added zip.
I found a cornbread recipe on Pinterest I want to try for this bean meal.

Crock Pot Corn, Bacon and Potato Chowder
corn, bacon, and potato chowder. This is an amazingly rich soup, and although it is weight watchers, it is not short on flavor. This is also a FAST soup to prepare and serve - within 30 to 45 minutes.

Thanks for stopping by today.
I'll keep you updated on all the fun we're having in the next 5 days.

All of those recipes look divine! I especially find the simple beans and cornbread to sound extra delicious right now with the chilly weather! I grew up on country food like that!! Beans with country ham and cornbread or simply slices of white bread. :) Let us know how the recipes turn out for you.
Blessings,
Leslie

Somebody's organized to have the menu all figured out. A great list and a good variety of crockpot recipes. Now please review for us so we'll know if you liked them as well as you think you will. I'd love to have a crockpot breakfast recipe, but I'm not sure if I'd like it.
