Patriotic Fabric Bunting

I decided to make a bunting for the 4th to decorate the deck.
I had several pieces of red, white & blue fabric in my stash.
I used 4 different prints & cut 8 of each, 11 inches long
by 4 1/2 inches wide.
Instead of using the sewing machine I used
my trusty glue gun to attach them to the string in the center.
I used an envelope to space each flag.

Hubby helped me staple them in place Tuesday night.
We also hung an old flag that belonged to my parents.
I think I'll leave everything up until the end of the month.

It's still hot, hot, hot.
The weatherman is promising cooler temps on Monday.
We will see . . .

Cute bunting, it has a nautical look. It will make you think you are on a cruise when you step out on your deck, especially if you turn the garden hose in your direction. ; )

Love that bunting. Mind if I copy you? I think one would look great strung around our pergola.
