Friday Show & Tell

Happy Friday to you all!
Today is going to be a busy day.
Preparing for the big
Sesame Street Birthday Bash
on Saturday.

For today's Show & Tell
a few pics from the kitchen Hoosier cabinet.

Platter from a unique shop, Vera & Ethel's,
in downtown Stillwater, OK
 that is no longer there.
Too bad, I loved that place!

White urn found at Goodwill for $3.50 a few years ago.
I felt like I had hit the jackpot even though it had been broken
and repaired.

A colorful rooster from my favorite flea market
in Branson, MO
I wonder if that fun shopping spot was damaged when the
tornado hit early Wednesday morning?
It's located very close to the downtown
Hilton Convention Center
that was heavily damaged.

Polka dot bowls from Target last year.
They have them again this year in the $ section.
$2.50 each!
Beware . . . hand wash only!

Every time I look at this cross stitch project that I did
over 2 decades ago I'm tempted to dig out
my supplies & start stitching again.

Inspiration Friday

Love all of your cross stitch things. Try stitching again, you have the knack for it. Just like riding a bicycle, it will come back to you.

Hi Carol.
I do pray for those who were devastated by the tornadoes, seeing your cross stitch makes me want to get mine out again, it has been years since I cross stitched. Enjoyed your treasures. I am a rooster collector.~smile~

Love the vignette on top of your hoosier. Your cross stitch is beautiful. I used to do a lot of that & crewel stitchery, but don't think my eyes could do it any more...lol! I'm lucky I can still sew. Now following via LF!

Hi Carol, I love each item you've shown! I also have to say I love the shamrocks on the top and side bars-since I'm Irish, I thought about adding some to mine but think I'll wait. I too hope that folks had enough warnings of the tornado that there weren't many injuries.
Have a great weekend.
