Let The Baking Begin . . .

Today I'm getting started with preparations for
Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm baking cornbread for the stuffing and mixing up some dough for dinner rolls.
I found a recipe on Pinterest that can be mixed in advance and baked up to 3 days later.
(Have I ever mentioned how addicted I am to Pinterest?)

Here is the roll recipe . . .

I'm impressed! We get our rolls at Charlie's Chicken. My hubby loves them and saves me from baking them. Like I would anyway. LOL

I've been making things in advance too but tomorrow we'll get down to the real baking. All the pie crusts have been made and are in the freezer, the noodles have been made and are in the freezer, Pumpkin Spice Chex mix and seasoned crackers are in ziploc bags, and homemade summer sausage and butterfinger candies are in the fridge. Today I'll cook the chicken for the noodles and stuff some sweet cherries for a jello salad. Woo-wee!

Oh, and you know I share your Pinterest addiction. Did you see the wording that went something like, "I need to find someone to pay me by the pins I pin." LOL!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

We are going out for dinner but I am making pies tomorrow so we can enjoy them Thanksgiving evening and weekend. Does the house ever smell better than the day before Thanksgiving? Have a wonderful time with your family---those rolls look yumm-o!
