"You is kind. You is smart. You is important."
— Kathryn Stockett
(The Help)
I know . . .
this is not proper grammar,
so when I say this to my grandchildren
I will say . . .
"You are kind. You are smart. You are important."
My sisters and I saw this.
Excellent!
Made us cry and laugh!

Beautiful qoute, I don't think kindness is taught much these days.
I have not seen the movie but I did just get the book on my Kindle and am already reading it for a 2nd time.
I love that quote also! I read the book and saw the movie!
I read the book last year and was excited to see the movie. It hasn't made it to our local theaters so we drove to a town 50 minutes away Sunday afternoon to see it. It was well worth the trip!
Thanks for the review, Carol. I don't see a lot of movies, but this one is on my list. And sharing the movie with your sisters sounds like such a good time!
Carol, I have been wanting to see this movie, and Now I want to even more! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Thank you too for coming by and for taking the time to leave me a sweet note.
Sue
I loved the book, hope the movie will be on cable soon.
Great quote :)
I am so glad you liked the movie.
It still has not come to our theater. Maybe our town is too small??
Hope you're having a great day!
