Tonight's The Night. . .

Tonight's the night for the annual showing of, 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown'! I don't remember the first time I saw this classic for the very first time. I think it was when I was a teenager. My little sister, Susan, was a big Peanuts fan at that time. I love all the Peanuts characters & the music.

Don't miss it tonight at 7:00 CT on ABC!

I will probably watch Charlie while I'm recording 'The Biggest Loser'. I love that show, it gives me inspiration!

Memories! It was so exciting when we were kids. New cartoons didn't come out just all the time.

I loved the line when the other characters ask what Charlie B got at each door. "I Got A Rock"
Love this time of year!

A Halloween tradition indeed. That was must see tv. I was wondering why you were planting pansies. How lucky you are to have them in the winter!!! I always thought the same thing about pansies. They are the first plant I buy in the spring! Very hardy!

I adore The Great Pumpkin!! I also remember watching as a child, and it brings back those warm, fuzzy feelings of an unworried, slower paced life.

And--yes, I own 2 Peanuts CD's for listening pleasure!!! TAlk about a stress reliever!!

Aw, I should've checked your blog - I didn't realize this was on! I used to watch it every year when I was a kid.

I always felt bad for Charlie Brown getting all the rocks.

And the dirty kid, "Pig Pen?" I think he was dressed as a ghost, but you could tell it was him under the sheet, what with all stink lines and fumes.
