Look What I Found. . .

Well, look what I found! I have been eyeing turkey plates for Thanksgiving dinner. A few weeks ago I saw some plates at Cracker Barrel that I absolutely loved, but I wasn't willing to pay that much, I think they were $7.99 each. I purchased one turkey plate at TJMaxx week before last for $3.99, I will use it for decorating. Yesterday I went shopping at Old Time Pottery & found these beautiful plates for $2.49 each! I spent another $35.00 with my gift certificate, I still have almost $40.00.

I love the colors!

I also bought salad plates for $1.99 each & a large serving bowl for $8.99.

Here is my birthday gift from Bobby & Kari. It's a very unique box with a lid, & I just love it! Note the saying on the box, I think it's so special! They filled it with yummy biscotti & chocolate flavored coffee. I also loved my happy birthday grandma card!!!

Today is another fabulous fall day, enjoy!

Love the turkey motiff! Makes me want to check into your B&B for Thanksgiving. Nothing better than "finding A Find of the Century" I always say.
I am getting cabin fever with the baby. I think I will venture out.
Have a good day

Gosh, it is GORGEOUS here today too....very cool yet sunny. A perfect Fall day!

We aren't doing anything for Fall break. Actually Lexi spent the night with a friend last night and they are going to the movies today. Just some lazy Fall days....

I saw those plates at Marshall's and wish I had picked them up to go with my white dishes. Hope I can find some more. I think the salad plates were about 3.99, at Marshall's. They are very pretty.

Our Old Time Pottery closed. I miss it.

Carol, I want to say thank you for the hospitallity that both you and Bod showed me. The meals were wonderful. Your home was decorated so beautifully for fall. Carol, thanks for letting me borrow Bob for a few hours, we had lots of laughs at the meeting.
We love both of you so much.
