Kitchen Window Vignette

Good Friday morning, friends!

My beauty sleep (ha) was interrupted early this morning by thunder & cold rain/sleet hitting our bedroom window.  

So thankful for the much needed rain.  I keep thinking if our temperature had been colder than 38 degrees we would have gotten up this morning to snow.

I love the window ledge above my kitchen sink.

Flowers from our St. Patrick's celebration are still pretty.

Peppermint Mocha from Good Neighbor Candle Co. is my candle of  choice today.

Smells divine!

These happy little faces add a little bit of sunshine on this gloomy day.

I'm going to work on this Pinterest idea today.

Welcome Spring

Spring has finally arrived!

I know some of you are still having winter weather.

It's windy & cool here in Oklahoma, but at least the sun is shining.

Bosley is so excited that a few more bunny & rabbit friends came out to play on this first day of spring.

They brought lots of eggs so they can start planning an Easter egg hunt.

My buddy Ziggy isn't a rabbit, but he likes to wear his bunny costume for the season.

The Bunnies Are Back

Hello, everybody!

Bosley Reed here to report that my bunny & rabbit friends are starting to arrive.

They delivered this pretty pink Easter egg to me this morning.

The first rabbits settled into the kitchen.

What's this?  

Looks like some Easter chicks showed up to make the table setting complete.

Hopefully when you visit tomorrow, more of my friends & family will have made their appearance.

Sure hope this cold snap hasn't scared them away!

Shamrock Sugar Cookies

I haven't made decorated sugar cookies in a long time.

The icing was a simple powdered sugar & water.

I just spooned it on the cookie, then used a straw to pull it onto the edges.

Emma sat in the chair to inspect the cookies before dinner was ready.

It was hard waiting to taste a cookie.

She didn't want anything to do with the shamrock chips.

Ethan is saying 'cheese' with his mouth stuffed with a big bite of cookie.
