Crafty Creation . . .

I'm getting crafty again . . .
After years of my craftiness laying almost completely dormant I'm slowly getting back in the groove.
Let me explain.
Back in the 80s and 90s I was completely involved in big time crafting.  Craft shows, booths in several craft malls, including one in Branson, home shows, special orders, you get the picture.
 Plus, I was teaching.
Finally it  happened . . . I had crafter's burnout!
Since I started pinning on Pinterest my creative juices are flowing again.
I created a paper wreath a few weeks ago.
You can see that project here.

Here's my latest project.

I used this cute fruit box and my old Mary Engelbreit calendar books,
and Mod Podge to create a multipurpose basket for Fall.

Here it is filled with snacks . . .

and here it's ready for a fall buffet gathering.

I'm going to fill it with candy for Halloween night trick-or-treaters.

Are you crafting and creating anything?

Pretty cute! I like your creativity.
It's nice to feel the motivation come back to be creative...especially after a burnout.
Happy crafty.

I've been preparing for a scrapbooking retreat that will benefit breast cancer research and baking/decorating cookies for both that event and our granddaughter's upcoming birthday party next week. I guess you might consider that crafting. You just got a new Pinterest follower too. Don't you just love that sight?!

Oh my goodness! I love it, and even better than that,I'm going to do it right now.I have all the things I need.I've been waiting for years to do something with all those M.E. pull outs from her very much missed magazine.I use to pull out the full page pic.,the paper dolls and the sweet stories on the last page.I still have every one of them.

That is very cute Carol! I love crafts too. I make more kids crafts since Mary is bigger. We teach her Sunday School class once a month. So, I get to plan a kids craft for that too:)

Great idea! I loce that it is so multi purpose! I used to craft all the time too! Macrame was BIG for me back in the day:):) Then I became a floral designer and that took all my time! Please stop over, I have linked with Kristen too. XO, Pinky
