Rooster & Hen Party . . .

It's a cock~a~doodle~doo party!

is hosting a rooster and chicken party!

Welcome to my
rooster and hen party!
Most of my collection is in this old
cabinet in the kitchen.

I found this big guy in my favorite flea market in Branson, Missouri.

The little green salt and pepper shakers were
a gift from my parents.

The colorful roosters were found in the attic of my
parents' shoe store many years ago.

This proud pair also came from the shoe store attic.
The small rooster and bowl full of eggs
were gifts from my sister, Susan.
Rooster plates were a gift from my sister, Mary.
Sister, Susan, gave me the dish rack.
I Love my platter and pitcher that I bought at
a cool little shop in Stillwater, OK several years ago.
These chickens look like they're having fun at the party.

My rooster lamp came from a Hallmark store
in Stillwater.

I found this clock at Hobby Lobby on clearance for $5.00 a few years ago.

This primitive rooster was a $10.00 bargain at Target last summer.

Thanks a bunch for visiting today!

Now, don't forget to visit Shelia so you can see all the
blogging friends who are participating in the party.

I popped over from Shelia's roost to visit, Carol, and you really have some adorable roos and chicks. I loved seeing them all... both the figurines and the china. SO cute.

Happy Cockadoodle do to you...

Sheila :-)

Hi Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, what beauties you have cock-a-doodle doing in your home this evening. Such a beautiful share. I love the big guy up on top of your hutch. He is just gorgeous and SO darn proud of himself.

That lamp is just darling. Just perfect for country decor.

Thank you for sharing this evening. I so enjoyed seeing your rooster collection.

Have a beautiful Tuesday sweetie. Country hugs from Phoenix, Sherry

I gave most of my roosters to my daughter-in-law a few years ago for her new kitchen. I kept one though. You have quite a collection.

Your chickens are so cute - I was thinking I don't have any roosters but I do have 4 hens, the milk glass kind that sit on a nest for a candy dish.

and since you have lived through this hottest summer ever, I know you are happy about the recent rain. We've had it 2 nights in a ROW!
