Geraniums . . .

This year we decided to plant geraniums in the front flowerbeds.

This is what the flowerbed looked like in May.

In July they are thriving despite the extreme heat.

When I bought the plants I thought I was
getting red & white. As you can see some of them were pink.

I have to deadhead them at least once a week.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hope your week is off to a great beginning!

Hi Carol! I love geraniums! Mine are all in pots, though! I seem to have trouble keeping them going in our hard clay soil! Yours are beautiful! Deadheading is a job, though! Don't you just love the smell of the leaves? Have a great week!...Debbie

Looks like a great choice!

They are doing well in spite of the heat.

Hi Carol, I love geraniums! Yours are so pretty!!

Whenever I deadhead plants, I am reminded of my hubby's sweet grandmother- she had quite a green thumb and told me all about deadheading and how necessary it was- this was when we were first married. So sweet memories with deadheading for me:)

Your lawn is also beautiful:)

Hugs,
Linda C
