Away In A Manger

We display several Nativity scenes for Christmas.
I think the first Christmas song I learned was, Away In a Manger.
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
The little Lord Jesus
laid down His sweet head
The stars in the sky
Looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay
The cattle are lowing
The poor Baby wakes
But little Lord Jesus
No crying He makes
I love Thee, Lord Jesus
Look down from the sky
And stay by my side,
'Til morning is nigh.

Dear Carol,
Nicely done. Loved this post, and the way that you put it all together.
Sweet.

Thanks..
K.

What a sweet carol to learn first. I have no idea what carol I first learned. Don't you love that your name is Carol?
