Last night was the first of our twice a month family dinners. I'm hoping this will be a tradition.
We celebrated Kari's birthday which will be tomorrow.

The pink lemonade cake was a hit! Bobby ate 2 pieces & he usually doesn't like cake.
Super easy to make. Yellow cake mix, lemon juice from 1/2 a lemon, and pink food coloring. Baked in a bundt pan. 1 can pink lemonade icing plus juice from 1/2 lemon. It was super moist.

Oh I always like birthdays that last longer than one day. Hope that your daughter-in-law has a wonderful birthday! Twice a month dinners sounds like just the right amount. I should work toward that myself.
