Yesterday was a rainy day & last night we enjoyed some old fashioned thunderstorms
We woke up to cloudy skies this morning & it looks like it will stay that way all day.
It's the perfect day for lighting candles to make my own sunshine.
Thank you, Sis Sue, for the awesome 'garden ivy' candle.
I poked some plant clippings in this little creamer.
It's not ivy, but close enough.
I bought this vintage grater at the
Flying Pig Vintage Market, a few weeks ago.
It makes a great place for a tea light.
This one is eucalyptus from
Thanks, Becky!
Thanks for visiting today!
Spread a little sunshine wherever you go today.

I love the idea of putting a tea light under a grater! Speaking of graters, I need one that is functional too. We are using an itty bitty one. You should have seen Chelsea grating zucchini this week. It was pretty amusing.
Thanks for the linky love.
I love candles on a rainy day too. There's a yummy one burning in my kitchen right now.
I love how you call candles "sunshine" for a dreary day! And an ivy candle --- set there with clippings from the same plant --- and the tea light in a grater --- sweet ideas!!! Enjoy a happy and "sunny" day!

I love candles on a rainy day, too. It feels so cozy:)
Using the grater for a candle light is quit smart...why didn't I think of it.
Now you are definitely clever. The candle in the cheese grater is so cute. Love it. Thanks so much for joining Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
Brighten the corner where you are. Everything looks very relaxing.
Sweet vignettes...I, too, like the look of the grater and the tea light.
Love the tea candle under the grater--I pinned it to my "Great Ideas" board!
Thanks so much for joining Grace at Home! I really appreciate it.
