Chalk It Up

Chalk board decor is all the rage.
There are lots of ideas on Pinterest for chalkboard messages & printables.
Here is the newest idea I pinned.
Dollar Tree Tray DIY
Love Of Family & Home: Dollar Store Tray Chalkboard (Dollar Store Decorating)
I did a chalkboard project similar to this one a few months ago with a garage sale find.
Several years ago I bought a vinyl wall repositional chalkboard at TJMax.
I use liquid chalk markers to write messages because regular chalk does work on the vinyl surface.
Yesterday, I recreated this Christmas message from Pinterest.
'tis the season to be jolly <3
Counting down the days to Christmas!

Have a fabulous Friday!

Carol,

I love this...thanks for the ideas. I have to look into Pinterest one of these days.

I just bought a chalkboard that I love but now, I want more!! Ha.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Your liquid chalk markers look like a much friendlier way to use chalk. I am guessing you have no chalk dust when you use those.

That looks lovely. You copied very nicely. My art skills are not so hot.

Carol, those are so pretty. I'm afraid my hand writing just wouldn't look that pretty on those. I have to get some of those liquid chalk markers. Have a great weekend. laurie

Love chalkboards!

Are the chalk-writers easy to clean off the chalkboard surface?

I put chalk-writers on my Christmas wish list :)

Thanks for sharing your cute ideas, and your recreation of the pin~
