Bye Bye Balloons . . .

The balloons are finally gone from the guest
bathroom sink area!
Another dream come true!

I guess if you're a fan of
vintage hot air balloons you might
like this look.

I tried to like it, but I couldn't make it work.

We were able to reuse the wall plates
by removing the paper and giving them
a good soak in warm water.

Much better!

The color looks different in this picture.

I'm not finished with the redo of this space.
I'll be shopping around the house
to find things that will complete the
new look.

On a more serious note I must give you a praise
report about a scary situation that happened
yesterday. Our daughter-in-law & grandson
were rear ended yesterday afternoon
as they were stopped at a traffic light.
Kari is almost 8 months pregnant.
Of course Ethan was in his car seat in the back seat.
We're giving thanks they were not harmed.
They were both checked out at two different hospitals.
Kari had to be admitted to a room in labor & delivery.
After 4 hours of monitoring she was released.
Praise the Lord for His protection!

You've made a big improvement! Seriously, who would put balloon wallpaper in a bathroom? Maybe a child's room, but a bath?

So glad no one was harmed in the collision! God is good.

So glad Kari and Ethan are fine. Wrecks are so unnerving!! Especially with the pregnancy.

I'm with you on the hot air balloon wallpaper. It is much better, less busy without it.

Your bathroom reno projects came out so well. Great job!

I am so glad that everyone is okay after the accident. That must of been a long four hours. On a lighter note, the bathroom looks great. Tan is a great color. You can do so much with all the accents! I love to go shopping at home. I move things around all the time!

First, thank God for his watching over your daughter and grandson! Now to the wallpaper. That sure is a busy scene with all those balloons. I never would have dreamed your "perfect" home would be hiding such a funny thing! LOL! You get credit for trying to live with it. So nice to see you tackling these projects. Have fun adding the finishing touches!

Love your bathroom walls now! I don't think I would have liked having hot air balloon wallpaper in the bathroom myself...
