This was the picture on my Mary Englebreit calendar Tuesday.
Perfect for today because it's VERY windy & cold.
I lit my Mother's kerosene lantern to add a little warmth to the kitchen table.
The weatherman keeps going back & forth with the forecast for next week.
We may get snow sometime around Christmas.
I would love it if we had a white Christmas, or even the day after.
I haven't wrapped one gift. Time to get busy!
Be warm, friends . . .
Your snow buddies have a cozy place to hang out. Hope they don't melt ; )
ReplyDeleteCute décor.
ReplyDeleteHope you get your wish, and have a white Christmas :)
Nor have I! Ackk...it's moments like these when I must remember to purposely slooow down. If I don't I either hurt myself or break something. =D
ReplyDeleteYour mother's lamp upon your table is perfection!
We are having a lot of cold air and wind but no more snow so far. I need to wrap presents today and make up our gift baskets to friends. Take care and have fun!
ReplyDeleteI hear on the news that a storm is coming our way. I'm going to stay home and wrap presents. The plate that the lamp is sitting on is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery warm and inviting decor. Love the kerosene lamp. How lucky you are to have it. Stay warm. It is cold and snowy here in Utah. Karie
ReplyDeletelove love love your lamp....i have my mother's, too and you've inspired me to get mine out and light it. :)
ReplyDeleteOver from The Charm....
Darling stuff - I've got snowmen gracing my kitchen this year. And a little Mary E. is always good for that cozy feeling.
