Day 5 of Thanksgiving . . .
I'm thankful for the beauty of Autumn.
It is my favorite season . . .
our beautiful tree . . .
red & orange leaves take my breath away!

"Orange" you glad?
Here's a little project I did with some oranges that were ready for the trashcan.
I did this a few years ago, but had forgotten the instructions. I found a link on Pinterest that jogged my memory.
Right now I'm using the orange slices to add a little fragrance to my candle centerpiece on the kitchen table.
The cinnamon smells delicious!
I will use these later to decorate a little tree in my kitchen window.
"Orange" you glad you stopped by today?
Your candle can go the distance. The oranges are pretty, of course we are partial to orange. ; )
ReplyDeleteSo glad I stopped by. Have a good day. Love the color's of your tree.
ReplyDeleteDid you microwave them or did you dehydrate them? I remember making swags with orange slices back in the 80s. Thanks for jogging my memory!
ReplyDeleteI saw those on your table and wondered if you had made them or purchased them. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI liked your creative post title =)
mmm makes me think of the Spiced Tea my auntie used to make for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know these smell wonderfully spicy. Thanks for the idea........Sarah
ReplyDeleteYour tree is beautiful in it's fall colors and what a great idea to put the dried orange slices around your candle. Bet it smells wonderful. Visiting from Seasonal Sundays,
