Welcome to Friday . . .
I am making progress in the guest room closet.
My fabric stash is folded & organized.
I sorted through craft patterns.
These are the ones I'm saying goodbye to.
Next I tackled the huge collection of cross stitch books & supplies.
A few of the many I'm getting rid of.
Can't believe I actually stitched this one years ago.
I also found a gigantic collection of finished cross stitch projects.
This box is filled to the brim.
I think I was stitching these for a craft show once upon a time.
Hmmm . . .
I'm thinking these need to be made into Christmas
ornaments, gift tags & gifts.
Please don't call TLC's Hoarding Buried Alive show . . .
One more, one more, one more, was the name of the game. You were the cross-stitch queen. I remember going to c.s. shops with you, you would buy up several new patterns at a time. How did you do all of that and teach school too?
ReplyDeleteBusy, busy lady! Makes you feel good to get it done.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy cleaning closets and finding things that I had forgotten I had, this reminds me of some cross stitch that i did years ago and have put away, and like you need to do something with the, I haven't cross stitched in years and keep telling myself that I need to get back to stitching.
ReplyDeleteYou really have been busy, and I know it is a great feeling.
Enjoy your weekend.
Hugs,
Sue
Hi, Carol! : )
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear from you again.
I love all of your crafty stuff- I just did a post on my craft room. It is so much fun to see other people's hidden treasures. : )
Good morning!
ReplyDeleteI knew that you'd get that closet organized. You're a go-getter :)
It's amazing how stuff can accumulate.
Have fun this weekend, and just think... the beginning of next week will be all the sweeter; you'll have one less chore :)
Great start on the organizing. I have tons of unfinished cross stitch still from before my first child was born (17 yrs ago!) Definitely must put them to good use somehow! Thanks for linking up to our Friday Block Party at Curb Alert! Hope to see you again this Friday.
