A Sewing Project . . .

A few weeks ago Kari asked me if I would make a nursing cover for her. She found a pattern on line at . . .
I got busy yesterday afternoon with the project & was able to complete it in a little over an hour.

It reminds me of a large bib. I think it turned out really well.

The neck has corset boning so you can look down to see how the baby is doing. I'm going to make another one for the diaper bag.

A few weeks ago I asked my blogland friends for grandma & grandpa name suggestions. We have decided we'd like to be called Nana & Papaw. However, that could change, we'll see what happens!

  4. Good job on the nusing cover. Those are so nice to have! My in-laws were going to be called Papa and Grandma. For some reason Mary started calling her Grandpa and she uses that for both of them. We keep telling her to say Grandma, but so far she has not transfered over. Isn't that funny! You never know what little kids will say:)

  6. Supposedly I had cute nicknames for my grandparents when I was little but I grew up and realized that all my cousins just called them "Grandma" and "Grandpa" so I stopped. I wish I had stuck with the nicknames so I could tell them apart.
