Less than 2 weeks until autumn begins. I've been tinkering on the mantel to create an 'Almost Autumn' mantel. It's still too hot to go into the attic to bring out the fall decorations.
Here's what I came up with.

I love that you used a tablerunner on your mantel -- who ever thought they were just for tables, anyway! I really like the book stack being used like a chalkboard. I read your tutorial & think that is very clever!
