Country Cottage Wish List

Yesterday, I showed you some dishes I bought at Target about 25 years ago.
The Sango Country Cottage design is discontinued so I went searching online.
I found a site that offers replacements for all kinds of dishes.
Replacements, Ltd. China, Crystal & Silver - Old & New -1-800-replace (1-800-737-5223) 9:00 am - 10:00 pm ET, 7 days!
Click on the image to visit their site.

I found several pieces from the Country Cottage collection that caught my eye.
Creamer      Sugar Bowl & Lid
Creamer $9.99 & Sugar Bowl with lid $14.99
Tureen With Lid And Ladle
Tureen With Lid And Ladle
$139.95
Hurricane Lamp And Globe  Hurricane Lamp And Globe
Hurricane Lanterns
$21.99 & $27.99
Sugar Canister & Lid in the Country Cottage pattern by Sango
Sugar & Flour Canisters
$25.99 each

I really like that tureen, but $139.95 is a little too steep for my pocketbook.
It's fun to window shop online.

I'm linking with . . .

  1. I'll keep a look out, never know what might be at yard sales or thrift stores.

  2. Yup, it's very distinctive...if I ever see any. Do you have the creamer and sugar bowl? They look "doable."

  3. Oh, they are all so cute! I love this pattern. Maybe one day you'll run across some of the pieces and a 'thrifty' price. :) Crossing my fingers for you.

  4. Try setting up a search on Ebay. I bet you'll be surprised at how many become available over time.

  5. I have these dishes! I bought them ages ago when I re-did my prior house's kitchen in the 1980's. I still use them. :) I never saw the soup tureen before -- the price fpr that seems rather steep!

  6. I just bought some Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com. They can be a little high... But the service is great!

I have purchased quite a bit from them over the years. :)

    Happy St. Paddy's Day!
