    Carol - Many years ago, my husband started traveling with his job. He left on Monday and came home on Friday. I was petrified to stay by myself. I memorized that scripture - John 14:27 - and said it every night before I went to bed. I don't know if the Lord intended to mean that exactly, but I took it and within a few weeks, I was sleeping all night and was not afraid anymore. Powerful verse.
