I can't believe it! I have a cold!
I haven't had a cold in years!
Could I have possibly lost my strong
immune system after only being retired from
teaching one year?
I had forgotten how miserable a cold can be!
The Kleenex box & cold medicine are my best friends right now!Hope you're having a cold free weekend!

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. It does make you miserable, and I always consider buying stock in Kleenex when I have a cold, because I KNOW their sales go way up when I'm blowing my nose! Get better soon. laurie
ReplyDeleteCarol, I do hope you feel better soon. I had an absolutely terrible spring cold. Now that I think back on it I wonder if mine was "swine" flu. I had fever for 4 days and hacking cough for 3 weeks. I do hope you get over yours sooner. Kathi
ReplyDeleteAw.. that is no fun!! Hope you feel better soon!! I remember the first year I started teaching I got EVERYTHING!!! Oh so horrible...but it seems each year gets better. Like you said, being a teacher allows for a strong immune system!!

Are you sure it isn't allergy? The difference being is that a cold has "colored mucous" discharge and allergy has "clear watery" discharge.
